Corporate Social Responsibility has been used until most recently to define a company's
commitment towards society and the environment. Currently, the scientific community and
international organizations urge, not only governments and large companies, all of us to focus
on a global responsibility. We are all invited to get involved and take action on a large scale,
stretching to other areas outside corporation. The implementation of Social Responsibility in
educational centers requires a conceptual and contextual analysis to a correct and practical
implementation. Schools have a major stake in introducing social responsibility as they are
expected to teach and promote consciousness in future citizens. The concept of Educational
Social Responsibility is explained as well as its implementation. We provide few ideas of best
practices as guidelines to educational institutions
