About the Journal

Focus and scope

Conscious Management Journal (CMI Journal, CMIJ; ISSN 2792-5404) is the scientific journal of CMI Higher Education (Conscious Management Institute S.A.), published in Madrid (Spain) since 2020. It is an electronic, transdisciplinary, diamond open-access journal.

It publishes theoretical and empirical research that helps build more responsible, sustainable and innovative organisations and societies. Its approach is STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and it is open to every field of knowledge, including:

  • Social Sciences and Law: management and leadership of organisations, economics, finance, law, marketing, education and communication.
  • Engineering, Architecture and AI: Industry 6.0, artificial intelligence, data science, digital transformation and sustainable construction.
  • Sciences and Sustainable Development: environment, climate change, energy, biodiversity and the circular economy.
  • Health Sciences: health management, wellbeing, occupational health and public health.
  • Arts and Humanities: ethics, philosophy, culture, creativity and the humanities applied to organisations.

Sections

  • Research Articles: original research, literature reviews and methodological notes for the academic community. Double-anonymous peer review.
  • Management Practice: applied work for managers and practitioners (case studies, CSR and sustainability plans, innovation projects and good practices), with recommendations for management. Editorial review plus review by an expert in the field.

Editorial criteria

Like the leading multidisciplinary journals, CMI Journal assesses every manuscript on its scientific soundness, methodological rigour, research ethics and clarity, whatever its field. All submissions undergo double-anonymous peer review.

Audience

Researchers, lecturers, managers and professionals in companies and organisations, public administrations, third-sector bodies and postgraduate students.

Languages and publication frequency

Submissions are accepted in Spanish and English, with abstract and keywords in both languages. The journal follows a continuous publication model: one volume per year, with articles published as soon as they are accepted.

Diamond open access

Articles are free to read from the moment of publication and publishing is free for authors. Content licensed under CC BY 4.0.
