Abstract
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is defined as an organization's commitment to society and the environment in which it operates. This commitment requires good organizational management practices aligned with the social responsibility strategies that shape the framework of action of the organizations. In this context, legal figures such as disciplinary dismissal, common in organizations, a critical decision that directly affects their workers, can also be conducted in a responsible manner. The paper defines the concepts of social responsibility, disciplinary dismissal (in the current Spanish regulations) and good practices and proposes a methodology for the responsible execution of disciplinary dismissal that organizations can implement as part of their corporate social responsibility strategies.
